Alexander Plastinin

Based in Zambia. Identified the processing gap that became the Group’s founding thesis and has led its on-the-ground development since. Previously held senior commercial leadership at Delta Bio, a fertiliser producer, and co-founded the games studio Pan Games. Active in commodity trading since 2025.

Maksim Uspenskiy

· Shareholder · Head of Trading, Russia · Head of Global Communication

Leads the Group’s trading relationships with the Russian market. Background in international commodity trading, with prior transaction experience at a Moscow fund-management firm and an earlier founder’s career in automation software. Holds degrees in corporate accounting and international finance, with a second degree in quantitative analysis and management.

Nikolai Gaichenia

· Shareholder · Chief Business Development Officer

Shapes where the Group goes next. Nikolai directs business development and communications — building the international relationships behind the platform, setting its long-term vision, and driving the strategic decisions that open new markets for Soyuz. He brings five years across technology and finance: two in technology companies and three as a director of technologies in fund-management companies.

Rogerio Waechter

· Leaf Director · Sales Manager

36 years in tobacco processing and leaf operations across Brazil, Africa and Asia. LPI Director at Japan Tobacco International (2016–2019) after eight years as JTI Leaf Manager, with earlier factory and general management roles at Gallaher, ATC and Intabex. Most recently commissioned a new 8,000-ton processing line in Venâncio Aires, Brazil, and runs it today — 150 staff, from leaf receiving to export.

Evan Campbell

· Senior Adviser

Founder and owner of the Associated Central Africa Limited (ACAL) Group and co-founder of Associated Tobacco Company (ATC), including the ATC green-leaf threshing plant in Santa Cruz, Brazil (2001). An active Burley leaf merchant across Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe with more than thirty years in the industry, he advises the Group across its farming, processing and trading operations, including the build-out of its senior operational team.
