Vertical integration

Three operations. One chain of custody.

The leaf we sell is the leaf we grow. Every stage between field and vessel is run by our own teams, so quality decisions are never outsourced and every bale has a paper trail.

Mkushi

The farm

Our estate in Mkushi grows the crop we sell. Our own team runs the season from seedbed to harvest. Control at the source is what keeps grades consistent.

About the farm

Lilayi

The processing plant

At our green-leaf threshing (GLT) plant in Lilayi, leaf is graded, threshed, redried and packed for export. Processing our own crop means your specification is met before the container is sealed.

The trading desk

STT Trading is the single counterparty for every sale. One contract and one desk, with direct answers on availability, grades and shipment.

About the trading desk

Quality & compliance

Built to pass your due diligence.

Traceability

One estate, one plant, one exporter. The chain of custody stays in-house from field to port, and the records travel with the leaf.

Labour practices

Labour on the farm is managed under [PLACEHOLDER: employment model and agricultural labour practices programme or standard followed]. Documentation is available to buyers on request.

Audit-readiness

Procurement teams, banks, insurers and logistics partners can request our documentation pack: the signed ZDA agreement on tax and duty incentives, with ZEMA environmental clearance and Tobacco Board of Zambia licensing forming the statutory compliance frame. Licence and certificate numbers are listed here as they are issued.
